Prof. Nurjanah is a Professor at the Department of Aquatic Product Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB University, with expertise in the characterization of aquatic raw materials. Her research focuses on the analysis of chemical composition, bioactive content, and antioxidant activity of various aquatic resources to support the development of food and non-food products. In addition, she also studies the characterization of various types of seaweed as innovative raw materials, including for food products such as seaweed salt, cosmetics, and the utilization of its residue as natural fertilizer. This approach supports the optimal and sustainable utilization of aquatic resources.
