Prof. Sri Purwaningsih focuses on the development of active compounds from aquatic products through extraction processes and comprehensive bioactivity testing, ranging from in vitro tests and animal models to clinical trials in humans. Her research is directed toward the innovation of seaweed-based functional foods, such as analog rice, noodles, fiber drinks, and other dietary products to support health, particularly in diabetes management.
