Prof. Kustiariyah’s Scientific Oration from IPB University marked a significant milestone in the development of marine biotechnology in Indonesia. The Department of Aquatic Product Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB University, congratulates Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Kustiariyah, S.Pi., M.Si., on her Scientific Oration as a Permanent Professor of IPB University.

The event took place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Andi Hakim Nasoetion Auditorium, IPB Dramaga Campus, and was broadcast live on the IPB TV YouTube channel.

In her oration, Prof. Kustiariyah emphasized the strategic role of marine biotechnology in driving innovation in the fisheries and marine sectors. This includes the development of blue foods, increasing the added value of aquatic products, and the sustainable use of aquatic biological resources.

On this occasion, Dr. Beginer Subhan, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB University, read Prof. Kustiariyah’s biography, describing her academic journey, scientific contributions, and dedication to the development of aquatic biotechnology.

The Department of Aquatic Product Technology, FPIK IPB University, also expressed its appreciation to all invited guests who attended, both in person and online. The presence of the academic community, colleagues, partners, and family demonstrated their support for her academic achievements.
