Diah Anggraini Wulandari, a Postgraduate student of the Department of Aquatic Product Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (THP – FPIK) Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) had the opportunity to participate in JST Sakura Science at MIE University Japan on December 12-28 last year.

JST Sakura is an exchange program in science that facilitates students to participate and play an active role in global issues and aims to solve global problems, especially in the Asian region.

Diah also did not want to miss the opportunity to present her research on “Invitro Anti-Malaria Activity of Spirulina Platensis” in front of Professors from MIE University and other participants who were students from universities in various countries.
In addition to visiting the laboratory at MIE University, Diah had the opportunity to visit several places related to marine destinations such as Nagoya Sea port, one of the largest aquariums in Japan, Nagoya Castle, Exploring amma on Shima Island, and several other places.
