BACHELOR PROGRAM OF AQUATIC PRODUCTS TECHNOLOGY

In order to move towards IPB Millennial Education 4.0, Bogor Agricultural University is improving itself, including by reorienting the old curriculum to be adjusted to current demands. For this reason, the leadership of IPB has directed all Faculties and Departments within IPB to hold Undergraduate Education workshops in order to reorient the curriculum.

The Department of Aquatic Product Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB, has held an Undergraduate Education Workshop with the theme “Reorientation of the Undergraduate Study Program Curriculum in Aquatic Product Technology”, on July 2, 2019 at the IPB Agribusiness and Technology Park, in Cikarawang, Darmaga, Bogor.

The Undergraduate Education Workshop, which was attended by 20 lecturers in the Department of Aquatic Product Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB, was opened by the Head of the Department of Aquatic Product Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB, Dr. Eng. Uju, S.Pi., MSi. Then it began with a presentation on “Curriculum Re-Orientation,” delivered by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FPIK IPB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Joko Santoso, M.Sc.

Then continued with a presentation on “Curriculum Reorientation of the Undergraduate Study Program in Aquatic Product Technology” by the Head of the Undergraduate Study Program in Aquatic Product Technology, Dr. Ir. Iriani Setyaningsih, MS, followed by a discussion moderated by the Secretary of the Aquatic Product Technology Study Program, Dr. Desniar, SPi, MSi.

The Undergraduate Education Workshop which lasted for one day went smoothly, and produced a new Undergraduate Study Program Curriculum in Aquatic Product Technology, which is expected to be in accordance with the IPB Millennial Education plan 4.0.
