Fauzan Farand, Alumni of THP Class of 53, Passes TNI Pa PK Selection in Magelang
Fauzan Farand, an alumnus of THP (Department of Aquatic Product Technology) Faculty of Fisheries IPB University class of 53, has successfully passed the selection of Pa PK TNI and is ready to be quarantined. The Indonesian National Army Career Soldier Officer or abbreviated as Pa PK TNI is the TNI Voluntary Soldier Officer Education for Indonesian citizens who are graduates of universities who meet the requirements and are declared to have passed and are selected as candidates for Pa PK TNI. The Pa PK selection starts from September 9 to October 21, 2022 with a fairly long selection process.
Pa PK education consists of several stages of selection, namely online registration for the first stage after being declared to have passed the applicant continues the selection at the regional level selection. In addition, at the selection stage, participants must also take several tests such as administrative, health, mental ideology, psychology, academic, and physical fitness selection. The selection is then continued with the quarantine process.
According to Fauzan’s presentation, he is currently undergoing a 3-month quarantine in the Magelang area. “Alhamdulillah after carrying out the final 2 weeks. This morning at 10:00 I was informed that I passed the TNI PAPK selection in Matra Laut to take part in education in Magelang,” said Fauzan. This achievement is certainly not a coincidence because Fauzan has succeeded in taking part in various selections. Armed with strong determination and perseverance in undergoing all stages of selection, Fauzan was able to reach the current quarantine stage.
Fauzan proved that graduates of fisheries, especially graduates of Aquatic Product Technology, not only have the opportunity to become researchers in industry, government or technopreneurship. But they can also have the opportunity to have a career in other fields, one of which is as a civil servant. This opportunity opens up vacancies for THP graduates as a promising career path.
