Industrial Partner Initiation Visit, CV Bio Chitosan Indonesia, Cirebon, West Java – The Industrial Partner Initiation Visit is one of the programs assisted by the Indonesian Crab Management Association (APRI) involving various parties ranging from village governments, academics, processing industries and users of crab shell products, crab fishing village communities and the media.

The visit which was carried out in two agendas, namely on February 7-8, 2023, was attended by several THP lecturers (Dr. Wahyu Ramadhan, Prof. Dr. Joko Santoso, Bambang Riyanto, M.Sc, Dr. Wini Trilaksani, Dr. Kustiariyah Tarman, and Prof. Dr. Sugeng Heri Suseno), APRI Secretary (Bambang Arif Nugraha), CV Bio Chitosan and Biofarma, as well as students who are doing their final assignments.

The visit began on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 by visiting Bondet, which is the location of fishermen and MP (Miniplant) crabs that peel crab meat, followed by visiting the location of fishermen and MP crabs in Gebang and finally Discussion on the development of TPLCT (Integrated Shell Waste Processing Place) in preparation for the visit to CV Bio Chitosan the next day.

Then the agenda continued on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 by visiting the chitosan factory of CV Bio Khitosan in Pangarengan, Cirebon Regency. Then to Subang to the location of the Biofarma fostered fishing village which was plotted as a pilot site for the establishment of TPLCT and discussions with stakeholders.
